| San Sebastian, perched at the top of Spain only 30 minutes from the French border, is playground to Europe's stars and royalty. Its quaint old town district has fun shops for daytime wanderers, and plenty of bars and cafes for evening entertainment. The beach is small but spotless, with a cleanup crew that literally combs the sand every morning. The cooler temperatures made it a welcome break from the heat of Madrid, although the rain ensured we didn't get to work on our tans! |
