Topics covered are the Hard and Soft problems of consciousness, supervenience, arguments against materialism, and Chalmers’ proposal of information as the building block of consciousness.

    Machine Learning

  • An implementation of a Set Covering Machine, as decribed by Mario Marchand and John Shawe-Taylor in their paper. Features visualization of 2D data in a browser, generated by tranforming XML debug code via XSLT into DHTML. Also includes a short paper on the development methodolgy and tips for extending the program code.
