The wood is all Honduran mahogany obtained fron Shell Lumber in Miami. Both the plywood and solid mahogany match perfectly. The finish consists of 2 coats of Sikkens Cetol Marine and 2 or 3 coats of Cetol Gloss. No glass is in the windscreen at this point.
Several modifications have been made based on confort and access. This will be discussed later.
The controls, steering and instruments have been reused with exception of the compas and antenna. The black and chrome is an obvious theme.
The velcro atached "curtain" is a spray guard used when cleaning the boat. It also keeps prying eyes items stored inside. |
