A trip to the Hong Kong Island |

We got to Hong Kong (as opposed to Kowloon, where we stayed most of the time) by subway, toured the sights (including the island's most luxurious restroom at the Shangri-La hotel), then took a fifteen minute ferry back to Tsim Sha Tsui. |

We probably ought to have gotten pictures of the Shangri-La restrooms, but Steve has better restraint with the camera than I have. We did see a wonderful forty-story high wall mural of China's Great Wall at the hotel and some beautiful walkways at the Hong Kong Park. We also went through the park aviary while we were searching for the tram entrance to ascend to Victoria Peak. We did make it to the top, but didn't get very good pictures because of the fog. |
