Welcome
Hi and welcome to Lucky Loser, Laurie's personal site, take a look around by acessing the links on the left. Now, you might be wondering where I got the site's name from, well it's a nickname of mine...of sorts. The 'Lucky' is because of some instances where I came out unscathed such as nearly being hit by a car while crossing in a crosswalk. :p The 'Loser' part is mostly because the definition of loser to me is that I don't smoke, have never done drugs, or go out partying with friends since I stay at home sleeping and surfing the web whenever I'm not a work or spending time with family.
The version of this site is of the short-lived television series, 'Fast Lane' on Fox. Enjoy your stay, and basically try to have fun, thanks!

Hey everybody, Happy New Year! Well hope you're having a better New Year than I am. I actually spent hours before New Year's Eve nearly yelling out orders in concern for my customers and co-workers. My throat's actually scratchy, and what's worse yet, I might be coming down with a slight cold. I'm surprised I'm even able to surf the net now. Anyway, in my room just chilling out, *again* with my Christmas presents, my Nelly Cd, "Suit" and a video game that is almost a year old, PSI Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy, and awesome game where you use phsychic abilities, like telekinesis and mind control. All right, I'm out, until then.

Pretty much relaxing today playing video games and listening to music, my recent Christmas presents. Haven't been on the net since, until now. Well, since it's the holidays, work has been pretty hectic, but I'm surviving. Anyway, until then.

Well, I watching 'House' one of the current new medical tv shows, and I've just witnessed the most disgusting thing I've seen on tv. A woman throwing up blood for at least three times, I don't think I've ever seen anything more upsetting, or if anyone else has. My mom just asked me what I wanted for Christmas, so I've come up with the idea of typing up my Christmas wish list by surfing such sites as Amazon.com and Gamespot.com. Compiling the list is actually kind of fun. Okay, on to my tv show, sorry for cutting out so fast. See ya.

Well, I was right, the kids from high school, most of them, spent their first week of winter vacation helping me out at the food joint. Even though I ended up doing most of the dirty work while they took over my usual duties, making me clean floors, the dining room and the bathrooms. But it was all for a good cause, since someone came for an inspection of the place, and even though I had to stay till six tonight. We passed eventually and they placed most of the credit to me, really! As usual I walked home around 6:15, man it sure was dark out there since it's winter, earlier in the year whenever I walked home after work there was at least some sunlight. But thankfully I got home safely.
One last thing before I go, I had the most weirdest dream before I left for work earlier this morning. It had to do with me having these terrible nosebleeds, while someone or something evil was tormenting me, very weird, but very frightening, since I sometimes have nosebleeds in real life, but not too frequently. Anyway, the last weirdest thing about the dream was the ending where I was trying to get some guy to open the door to his room in some house. After opening the door, I realized that this man was the character Matt from the Resident Evil movie. He was disfigured on one side of his face and the same side his eye was that of a zombie, as though he were turning into the Nemesis, the character that he eventually ends up becoming in Resident Evil: Apocalypse. When I asked if he was okay, he was talked to mein a half human, half zombified voice, telling me that he was. It was like I was the other character Alice or something worrying over him and his transformation into the monster, really strange! Then I finally woke up. Anyway that's all for today, until then!

Not much going on, just preparing for another day of work tomorrow by washing my clothes and surfing the net once again. I don't know why, but I'm dreading work since on my last day, folks came into the store like you couldn't believe (and to the fact that I once worked for at least, oh, say, thirteen hours one day this last week . That's right, you heard *thirteen* hours. Oh, well, at least I'm happy that the high school kids have their winter vacation, another reason why I'm dreading that busy, *busy* work week, hopefully they'll spend it helping me and my other co-workers out. Until then!

I had the weirdest dream late this morning, if I do say so myself. It started of with me driving a car in my neighborhood, very weird since I don't own a license, or even a car (another reason I consider myself a loser, go figure)! Anyway, after doing a few weird back ups and car turns, I walked out only to find myself on some school grounds, I don't know whether it was my elementary school grounds or my community college. A lot of people, students, whatever were getting to safety after squeezing past a guarded fence while beyond that there was a blazing fire where I don't know whether people were being burned or not. See how weird this is getting? Then out of nowhere comes my sister's car, where she picks me up and drives me to the front of my community college building. After being shown where the class I'm going to is I get out, give thanks and proceed. Now instead of elevators or stair cases, I have to jump to the second ground level of the building, yes that's right, jump (there are holes where the staircase/elevator should be)! I try to search for my room, but the strange thing is I don't even know my room number or what my first class is. When I jump up to at least three floors, I encounter this weird curtain, it's like a puzzle or something, and after I fiddle with the curtain's blinds, this weird little boy or small person rushes in and out of the room I'm in, he does this about one or two times, and this time I'm really scared. When I go to turn and try to get the hell out of wherever I am, I finally wake up. After waking I am a bit stunned, it wasn't a scary as other dreams I've had, but it certainly had me a bit shaken up. It's dreams like this that make me look forward to another day of work, which begins again Monday, tomorrow.

Well, after weeks of hard work and effort I've finally finished this personal site of mine. I have another one that is still heavily under construction, you can find it here, where I have my fanlistings listed. My Thanksgiving turned out not too good, considering the fact that I nearly fell asleep through it all, after working all morning before that. Yes, I had to work on Thanksgiving. So, I just hope everyone else's went better than mine. Anyway, until then.
