Battle Update



	Mephisto walk across Kami's lookout and sees a being walk around on the lookout that he has never seen before, at that point in time Mephisto has another flash of memory, remembering the betrayal he suffered at the hands of one of his most trusted friends, as he comes out of flashes of memory he sees the figure standing in front of him unfortunately for the stranger Mephisto is still partially in the pulled memory and sees only the face of his betrayer not the face of the young warrior Kenshin. Kenshin walks up to the fighter in the red trench coat clutching at his head could this be the Mephisto he came to test his skill against. Mephisto then cry's out in pain, feeling once again the treachery he suffered years ago "Betrayer you will die for what you have done, the blood of the men I trusted you with, shall be answered this day" Mephisto attacks Kenshin with a quick combo of punches and kicks. Teen Gohan watches the fight begin, and laughs at the fate of the young Kenshin, Kenshin pulls himself of the ground after the unexpected attack and throws a couple of punches at Mephisto. Gohan looks confused quickly becomes aware of Kenshin's inexperience as he barely even blocks and doesn't use the opportunities presented to him by Mephisto, Mephisto easily counters Kenshin's attacks then looks at his enemy and says "Sirus you're tricks wont fool me defend, perhaps if I unleash some power at you, you might take the answer of the souls you destroyed more seriously" then he raises his arm and 3 daggers appear, they're charged and launched at Kenshin, each strikes Kenshin then explodes tearing him apart. Kenshin tries to refocus himself then shouts out "I'm not Sirus but I did kill people in the revolution but I'm not going to go down that easy" he then attempts to punch and kick Mephisto, the attacks that actually hit Mephisto do no recognisable damage. Gohan then laughs at Kenshin "Don't you realize you cannot hurt him?" Kenshin replies "yes I know I don't expect to win Gohan, however?" As Kenshin talks Mephisto hears only the voice of Sirus in his head there is no way to reason with him now, Kenshin breaths hard trying to focus his energies then whispers under his breath "I have a lot to learn" Mephisto takes to the air and then kicks Kenshin 3 times with great speed and power Kenshin attempts to counter the moves but fails, Mephisto then totally delusional recalls the betrayal completely then cries aloud "I may not command the power I once did but I shall have vengeance" Kenshin beaten and bruised replies "Vengeance brings only suffering you should know that" he then vainly throws his fists at his overpowering opponent. Mephisto then beats him across the head and unleashes a small portion of his ki towards Kenshin sending him flying. Kenshin then tries once again to attack Mephisto and hits only air as Mephisto appears behind him "you are faster than this Sirus I wont hold back neither should you" then after a flurry of punches Kenshin gets sent flying to the floor once again, Kenshin then mutters quietly "you're a lot harder than Shishio ever was" he then launches himself at Mephisto, Mephisto easily avoids his attacks and proceeds to beat him senseless always dodging the powerless punches sent his way. Videl then arrives to see what her teacher is doing she argues with Gohan as Kenshin's life force slowly disappears. Mephisto then decides to kill the enemy he sees before him "Sirus DIE" he then launches another 3 daggers each with more power than the last. As Kenshin lies defeated he gets a final bout of strength thinking of those he swore to protect then screams with the last of his strength "I won't let myself die. Miss Kaoru I promise I won't die" Mephisto dodges the first 2 punches that Kenshin attempts then catches his leg in his left hand after his attempt to kick him. Videl Frowns at Gohan "Please ends this Gohan...." Mephisto then looks deep into his enemy and sees not the face of the warrior he trusted so long ago but the face of a child a poor child who crossed him at the wrong time, he then drops Kenshin's foot and becomes aware of his surroundings "who are you child?" asks Mephisto Kenshin quietly replies "My name is Kenshin, Kenshin Himura" Videl then shouts at Gohan "stop this now", Mephisto looks toward Videl "My lady it is already over", he then focuses back on the child "Kenshin I apologise for attacking you, I have no desire to kill you, you are not the one who wronged me". Then holding Kenshin in his arms he walks over to the observer of the fight "you are Gohan, yes?" Gohan nods "please look after the boy, he did not deserve what I have done to him" asks Mephisto "I shall do this.....for you....." replies Gohan. Mephisto then places Kenshin in Gohan's arms and walks away. Gohan carries him into the house of Kami. Before he is gone Mephisto speaks to Gohan "I must meet with you and discuss this worlds future, but not now" As Gohan carries Kenshin to Kami's place he passes out thinking of his lost love the one he has sworn to protect. Videl then turns to Gohan "right what the hell just happened here?" "Well ?"
