Ty Davis Jr is a 2rd year cop and parter of John "Sully" Sullivan. Ty's father used to be Sully's partner until he was killed. There were suggestions last season that Ty's father was not completely clean, and this season we find out that Ty's father had a family on the side. Geez, Ty has a lot to deal with! We see that he is learning each day how to be a good cop from Sully, who's famous phrase is "We Solve Problems."
In Season 1, Ty shot an innocent civilian trying to give Sully back his gun. Ok, it looked like this guy was going to shoot Sully, so Ty was trying to save his partner's life. This season Ty showed his bravery by going into a boy of water to save a victim in a helicopter. After that he met his sister, from that family on the side. Oh boy! This causes animosity to say the least, with his partner Sully, because he couldn't understand why no one told him. Maybe because everyone knew he would freak! Which he did! Anyway, his father and his shady past continues to haunt Ty, literally, as he sees his fathers ghost sometimes lurking around him. Maybe this season we will see that yes, his papa was dirty. On the other hand, Ty has to deal with enough already!
