Rules

1.Gameplay...this is a role play by email, we weave a story through posting and replying. This is not fanfiction or a round robin (at least in the pure form of a round robin).
2.Characters...you can only reply using your characters, do not use another person's character without permission. You also may not severely hurt/maim/kill another’s character with out asking first. Moving or speaking for them a bit is allowed as it helps move game play along.
3.Scripted roles...if you are using an actual character from a show you must follow the basic scripting that was presented in that show. Do not deviate severely from it.
4.Flaming...Do not flame your fellow list mates on or off list. If you have a problem with someone email or a moderator and have them take care of it.
5.Character creation...If you would like to create a character just follow the guidelines given on the creation page. Please full out the sheet fully. Also keep in mind when filling it out no Mary Sues. If you create a Mary Sue we will mail you back and ask you to redo your sheet.
6.Character interaction...Please do not have your character have a past with another's before asking. By past we mean a romantic relationship mostly, but it is still better to ask about anything before doing it. Also in that vein no romantic relationships are to be until you ask permission first as well. Do not just waltz in and say 'Susie here has been sleeping with Bobby for the last year,' ask first. It is ok however to have two of your own characters get together. **If your character has a past with a canon character that is not taken in our game upon your subscription, it will be allowed at the moderator's discretion and when the character in question is taken the new history will become canon for them. Please check our History page as well to see how that might affect your character.
7. Content: Please do not swear or write things of a highly sexual nature. Some swearing and “extra curricular activities” are allowed but no f-this and f-that and pornos in the making.
8. Be original with your characters, no copying of a canon character or another character on this list is allowed.
9. Please do not join if you are below the age of 18.
10. Please post at least every three days (real life time) if you are in a highly active thread. If you do not and have not contacted a mod or myself telling us of time away from the list your character will be moved or spoken for by someone else or passed over. Sorry it is not fair to hold people up. If you do not post for 2 weeks you will be put on probation and contacted my myself or a mod. If after a month no word is heard from you do not be surprised if you are no longer on the list.
11. If you will not be online or able to post for some reason let us know about it and we will help you in any way we can. I know that real life is a bitch so don’t worry – we can work it out.
12. Feel free to send me ideas for plots and storylines, do not just post them without asking please.
13. Please keep ooc talk to a minimum, we will have an ooc list where we will be able to talk more freely about things and also contact each other about random game stuff – keep the chatter there please.

Punishment

If you are found to be breaking any of the above rules there will be consequences.

Strike 1: You will receive a warning from either a moderator or myself.

Strike 2: You will receive a second warning and be put under probation for a certain amount of time (depending on the severity of the problem). Probation means that your posts will be moderated and not allowed to be sent to the entire group until approved by a moderator or myself.

Strike 3: As the umps say YOUR OUT! If violation of the rules occurs for a third time you will be bounced from the list. If you still want to be a part of it you may petition to return after a period of 2 weeks, if your petition is approved you will be allowed back on a trial/probationary period. If all goes well you may be allowed full privileges once more.
