TAYLOR: "I know Zac." I said, leaned over Jess and kissed her cheek. "Jess..wake up baby.." I said softly. "Mmm..no..don't wanna.." she groaned. Zac grinned and Watts covered her mouth trying not to laugh. "Jess..you have to get up now..we have to leave..come on baby, wake up." I said again. "Uh-uh...wanna sleep.." she groaned and turned over, burying her face in my chest. Zac pressed his lips together and Watts held her breath. I looked at both of them and grinned. "Come on Jess..wake up baby.." I pleaded again, chuckling. She was too cute when she acted like this, but we really needed to get going. "Noooo..." she groaned. "I don' wanna, Tay. Lemme sleep." I couldn't help but laugh. Zac's shoulders were shaking and Wattley had her hand over her mouth, tears tricking from her eyes. Okay. Time to get drastic. "Baby.." I cooed. "Come on, wake up..." I moved her hair away from her neck and kissed her there, softly. "Mmmm.." she murmured and snuggled closer to me. I grinned up at my brother and Watts, who were leaning on each other, shaking and trying hard not to laugh out loud. I stroked her hair back again and kissed her cheek and then her neck, her arms slid around my waist and she nuzzled my neck, all without opening her eyes. "Jessie...baby...wake up." I said into her ear. "Please..we need to get up." I kissed her neck and shoulders and stroked the back of her head. "Jess, wake up baby.." I urged and kissed her cheek and moved to her mouth, kissing her lips softly. Her arms slid around my neck and she kissed me back. I pulled away a little, took a quick look at Zac and Watts, who were doubled over now, shaking. "Come on Jessie..baby.. wake up.." I kissed her lips again and she slid closer to me, kissing me back. I stroked her hair back and looked down at her. Her eyes fluttered open and she grinned at me. "Much as I'd like to stay here baby.." I whispered in her ear, "we have company." I cleared my throat and jerked my head toward the shaking masses on the table. Her eyes followed the direction I jerked my head in and she swore, quite creatively. The two on the table burst out into hysterics and I had to laugh. She grinned at me sheepishly and reached above her head, grabbing a stick from the pile we had made and hurling it at Zac. |
"Hey! What did I do?" he laughed. "Talk to your fiancee if you got a problem.." "Don't worry, Zac." she said. "He'll get his..." "Oooohh will I?" I teased. She ran her hands through my hair and grinned, "You know it.." I growled and kissed her, passionately. "Oh PUKE!" Zac exclaimed. "GET DRESSED AND COME ON. We have to get going." Wattley poked him in the ribs and said, "Well how can they get dressed if we're standing here? You goofball, come on and help me.." She took his elbow and led him toward the car. "You awake now?" I asked Jess. "Unfortunately, yes. Come on.." she sighed and started to roll away from me. I pulled her back to me and kissed her, parting her lips with my tongue and taking a fistful of her hair. Her arms slid around my neck and she pressed herself close to my body. She looked at me with her warm brown eyes, straight into my soul. "I love you, Taylor. With all of me." she said softly. I held her tightly to me and kissed the top of her head. "I love you, too Jessie. You have my heart.." I told her and kissed the top of her head again. "Come on baby. Let's get going." |
TAYLOR: Jess and I wrapped up in the sleeping bags and ducked into the tent. We got quickly dressed, though as I caught sight of her movements, I was sorely tempted to stop her and make love to her again, right that moment. I sighed to myself. Too many things to do. We packed up the rest of our clothes, Jess making sure that none of the sandy, dirty clothes got in with the clean ones. I let her handle that and took the sleeping bags and shook them out and rolled them up. She emerged from the tent, bags packed and smiling. She dropped them on the ground came to help me take down the tent. Zac and Watts tore theirs down and it became a race as to who would get theirs packed and loaded first. For a change, Jess and I lost, mostly due to the fact that we spent every spare moment looking at each other or touching. Finally the truck was loaded and Zac and I looked around the campsite to make sure we didn't leave anything and that the garbage was tightly lidded. Zac hopped in the car with Watts and Jess settled herself right next to me in my truck. We had decided that Zac and Wattley would follow me, and we'd stop fairly soon for breakfast. Wattley said she was starving and Jess needed to eat too, but I did see her go into the cooler and choke down a protien shake. Yuk! I didn't how she could stand those things and she practically lived on them lately. I decided to stop as soon as I could, I really needed some coffee if I was going to make this drive after last night. I pulled into the first place I saw and we piled out and went inside. The smell of coffee and fried eggs was almost overwhelming as we walked in the door. I was instantly hungry, but I felt Jess grip my arm tightly. I looked down at her and groaned. She was pale and shaking. I grabbed her arm and led her to the first booth I could find, Zac and Wattley close behind. Jess slid in, and I sat next to her, my brother and Watts sitting across from us. |
"Jess..now what, baby.?" I asked and held her against my side. "I'm alright, Tay. Just get me some water as soon as you can." she said softly. "Jess, you're obviously not alright. What is wrong?" I asked angrily. "Tay, I just need some water, okay? I'm alright.." she said and took deep breaths and laid her head on my shoulder. "I'm okay." she said again, trying to convince herself, I think. Zac flagged down the waitress and got her to bring us some water. He looked at me as if to say, "Yeah right, she's fine. NOT." Our server set a glass in front of Jess. She grabbed it and gulped it all down. The waitress just looked at her and then turned to the rest of us, wanting to take our order. Finally it was Jessie's turn. We waited as she just sat staring at her water glass. "Oh, I'm sorry," she told the waitress, "I wasn't paying attention. I'll just have whatever he ordered." she said and nodded toward me. "And another glass of water, please?" The waitress shook her head and walked away writing in her order book. "Jessie..are you sure you're alright?" I asked her. She swallowed hard and nodded, not saying anything. I grabbed her arm and almost yanked her out of the booth and drug her outside. "Tay.." she said quietly, "Stop. Please." I opened the door, drug her through it, and spun her by her shoulders to look at me. "Jessie Lee. You stop, right now." I said angrily. She just stood there looking at me, pale and shocked. "You are not alright. You should see yourself in a mirror. Now what the hell is wrong? Why are you shaking and gulping water like you've been in the desert for a week? Huh? Talk to me.." I demanded. She leaned back against the building and and covered her face with her hands. "JESSIE!" I demanded again. I saw her swallow hard and she looked up at me, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. |
