During the next week, I noticed that Dave was becoming as overprotective as Jake could be. "Dave.." I sighed, frustrated, "The paprazzi IS driving me insane. I will admit that, but if you're gonna be overprotective, do it for Watts, PLEASE? Or find someone to replace Keith, he's starting to creep me out. I don't like how he is with Wattley. And Watts doesn't notice 'cause he's always someone different with her. She's gonna get hurt..I want HIM GONE."
"I've been keeping a close eye on him, Jessie. So has Jake. Relax, okay. Besides, the press is hounding YOU. And apparently Tay, considering he's all over the tabloids.."
"Aww, Dave. You know I won't even look at that shit. It's all lies. According to them, Tay prolly has a two headed girlfriend and is running all over Vegas with her. I KNOW better..jeez!" I groaned.
Dave chuckled and patted my shoulder. "Want me to tell you what they're printing about you?"
"Blah! No thanks, I'd like to keep my lunch down.."
He laughed again. "Okay. Are you done here?"
"Yeah...I'm just going home. I wanna finish dusting out Tay's room and put the rest of the pictures up.." I told him. "why don't you just get me to my car and then go home?"
"I'll get you home, then I'LL go home.." he said.
"UGH! Alright..let's go shadow.." I rolled my eyes.
TAYLOR:

My stomach was in a knot when my brother dropped me off at home. The house was dark, and it looked like Jessie wasn't even there. Dave's car was sitting in my driveway, parked off to the side and out of the way.
"Want me to take you over to the gym, Tay? You know that's where she is.." Ike said.
"Nah. I'll just go in and unpack, it's getting late. She won't be long, I'm sure." I told him.
"Kay bro. See ya.." Ike pulled out of the driveway and I turned and picked up my two bags, hauling them up the steps to the front door. I head a car behind me and turned to see what Ike had forgotten, but it wasn't Ike. It was Jess.
"TAAAAAY!" she squealed, jumping out of the car and running up the driveway. "Baby! You're home early..." she cried in surprise and almost tackled me. I chuckled and held her close to me. "I missed you too, baby.." I had to look up to smile at her, because she had her arms around my neck and her legs wrapped around my waist, and she was planting kisses all over my face and neck, finally settling on my lips. "I am soooo glad you're home baby.." she grinned and then unwrapped herself from me. "But you ARE NOT going in there right now and I mean it." she said forcefully.
"Why? What'd I do?" I grinned down at her.
"Hey Tay.." Dave came up the driveway then his hand outstretched.
"Hi Dave.." I shook his hand thn turned back to Jess.
"Why am I not allowed in my own house?" I asked again.
"You're not the only one with surprises, goofball. And if you go in there now you're gonna ruin mine." she stuck her tongue out at me and I laughed.
"Dave, keep him company for a few minutes will you? Thank goodness he didn't show up any earlier..jeez! The nerve..comin' home early and wreckin' it.." she muttered with a grin. "Stay here.." she pointed at me and went in the house, and started switching on lights. I grinned at Dave, "Don't s'pose you can tell me what the hell is going on?" I asked.
"No way man..I'm under oath." he laughed. "She'll kill me if I tell you, then you'll have to search far and wide for a bodyguard who can stand his client trying to ditch him all the time.."
"Ditch you?" I asked.
"Yeah..she always is tryin' to get me to take off early, or send me after Wattley.." he said
"After Wattley? What's up with that?" I asked.
"Jess really has a strong dislike for Keith. Keith likes Watts, but I don't think there's anything to worry about.." he said.
"If Jess is pushing it watch closer." I told him. "There aren't many people she doesn't like, but if she doesn't, there's usually a very good reason. She's only oblivious when it comes to herself.." I was even more worried for Watts now, with Jessie pushing Jake and Dave to get rid of Keith. Dave and I discussed that a few more minutes, then I got to wondering what Jess was up to. I rolled my eyes, "Jess! What the hell are you doing? I'm tired baby, I wanna come in MY OWN house and at least see the furniture I bought.." I yelled in the door. Dave chuckled, "All I can tell you is it'll be worth it, man. And she's like a kid..I think she's more excited than you are curious."
"JESSIE! Come on baby.." I yelled in the door again, the grinned at Dave.
"You just hold on, buster! If you hadn't come home a day early without telling me, this would be done and you wouldn't be standing on the porch.." she stuck her head out the door and grinned. "Why is it you think you are the only one who can surprise anybody?" she giggled. "And if I catch you peeking before the wedding, you're in for it.." she admonished.
"Okay, you can come in now, but I mean it Tay, NO PEEKING!" she grinned. I kissed her cheek. "I won't spoil it baby, I promise."
TAYLOR:

"Kay.." she grinned again.
"Well then..I'm outta here before I get cavities.." Dave joked.
"Nite Dave, thank you.." Jess told him.
"Nite Dave.." I said, laughing whenhe only waved over his shoulder without looking back.
"Come on baby.." Jess smiled brightly, picked up one of my bags, grabbed my hand and yanked me inside as I was hoisting my other suitcase.
"Jess.." I laughed, "You're full of energy for someone who keeps complaining that she hasn't slept all week.."
"I haven't smart ass..." she giggled. "But I am glad you're home.. I missed you." she said softly, and kissed me passionately as I kicked the door shut behind us.
"I missed you too, baby." I smiled down at her, then looked up and was instantly amazed at how this house looked like home, with everything inside and it looked lived in. The whole place smelled like Jessie's perfume too. "Wow baby! You HAVE been busy.." I smiled approvingly.
"Come see the rest then.." she smiled and tugged at my hand, pulling me into the kitchen, and then the dining room, and through the rest of the house. One room upstairs, the one closest to our bedroom was still completely empty. "This will be the baby's room Tay." she smiled. "But I wanted you to help me with it."
"Thank you, Jessie." I hugged her close.
