We got all the dresses hung, Diana making sure mine was covered in a dark plastic bag so no one else would see it before tomorrow. 'No one else' meaning Tay, I was quite sure.
We finally all tromped down the stairs when we heard the guys come back, nobody could have missed their return, they were all noisy and hyper, even Walker.
The minister showed up and we ran through what the ceremony would be, Zac making it difficult, but fun, every step of the way. The kids seemed to even enjoy themselves, but Mac was concerned about 'all those pictures we have to be still for'.
"Make ya a deal, bud.." I grinned down at him and then knelt in front of him. "You smile nice in all the pictures tomorrow for me, you can even say what I told you to say at Ike's wedding, and you get an extra piece of cake. Whichever one you want.." I told him, looking to make sure no one else was listening.
"Really, Jess?" he asked his eyes as big as saucers.
"You betcha kiddo...gonna be good and smile nice for me? Show Zac what a REAL gentleman acts like?" I teased.
"Okay, Jess. But you have to tell Mom, cause she'll never believe me." he said seriously and it was all I could do not to laugh out loud. "Okay, Mackie my man, you got yerself a deal.." I said and shook hand. I ruffled his hair and he took off for parts unknown.
"You are absolutely amazing." Taylor said directly in my ear, making me jump.
"Tay.." I put my hand on my chest and closed my eyes, "You scared me. Can't you see we were having a very serious powow?" I grinned.
"Your secret's safe with me." he smiled and put his arms around my waist. "Thank god I won't have to wait much longer, Jess. I don't know if I'll make it through the night.."
"You will." I smiled up at him. "Then we have the rest of our lives together baby. I can't imagine a life without you anyway." I told him and laid my hand on his cheek.
"So don't try Jess. It'll never happen.." he smiled and kissed me, making my knees go weak.
"Oh god!!" Zac suddenly burst in. "Save it for the honeymoon would ya? Dinner's here and I'm hungry..I'd kinda like to keep it down, do you mind?" he sighed, exasperated. I giggled and socked him in the shoulder.
"Oww.." he rubbed it, grinning at me.
"Don't be just barging in on people and you won't have to see anything going on that you don't want to, you big freaking goober.." I teased.
ZAC:

"Mom sent me in here to tell you perverted geeks to come and eat." I told Jess, still rubbing my arm where she socked me.
"Fine Zac. We're coming.." my brother said without breaking his goo-goo eyed glance away from Jess. Then she made it worse, stroking his cheek and running her hand through the front of his hair.
"Gah...I'm gettin' outta here.." I complained, "Hurry up, mom won't let us eat without you."
"We'll be right there, Zac." Jess answered still staring at Tay.

"They're in there making googoo eyes at each other.." I grumbled to my Dad and Jake. "She said they'd be right in, I'm not going in there next time." I grinned at Leigh.
"Stop picking on 'em Zac, Jess is a bundle of nerves..they ARE getting married tomorrow." she said, smiling up at me.
"Jess is NERVOUS? No way.." I said, amazed. I'd never seen her nervous. Pissed, yes. Nervous? NOT.
"She was up there complaining that her stomach was in knots and she was sure it wasn't morning sickness." my mom told me. "She hasn't had that for a couple of weeks."
"No way.." was all I could manage.
They finally came in and we sat down to eat the awesome catered dinner that Jess had brought in, she refused to allow my mother to lift a finger in the kitchen the next couple of days, and it was alot of fun. I did lighten up on Jess, though. Once Leigh and my mom said something, I noticed it, she WAS nervous.
After dinner everyone stayed and visited, but Jess saved herself some trouble and time by hiring someone to come in and place the flowers and set up chairs in the house in the morning. Which was a good thing, because by the time mom put the kids in bed, Jess looked whipped. Gorgeous, but beat.
My mom reappeared as Jessie couldn't stifle a yawn.
"I think I need to call it a night, Tay." she said softly and grasped his hand.
"Kay, Jess." he kissed her cheek. "Let's go." They stood to leave and then Jake and I looked at Ike and my Dad, the girls were grinning, too, but the lovebirds didn't notice. They said their goodnights to us and then Jake took me aside. "Let him take her home..we'll follow them, but not too far behind," he grinned, rolling his eyes, knowing that if we were TOO late, they'd be in bed and there was no way anyone of us would risk walking in on THAT.
"Kay..." I tried not to laugh and squeezed Leigh's hand. "Get your stuff babe..operation kidnap is underway.." I told her. She stifled a giggle as Jess and Tay went out the front door, then she and the girls grabbed their bags and ran for the cars.
ZAC:

We followed Jess and Tay to their house, let Dave in on the scam so he'd let us in without letting THEM know, then killed the lights on both vehicles. We pulled halfway up the driveway and waited to see them get out of the truck. Then Lacey pulled her car up next to Tay's truck and parked. Jake pulled in behind Tay's truck and waited for Abbey to give him the go-ahead. Leigh sneaked up the walkway and peeked in the window and waved Abbey around to the deck at the side of the house. Abbey came running back to us trying not to laugh, "They're smooching out on the deck," she giggled tugging on Jake's sleeve, "it's too perfect..COME ON." Jake, Ike and I looked at each other and grinned, then jumped out on Jake's truck leaving the doors open.
