Ike was especially glad he'd decided to volunteer to get the 'sacred green notebook', it gave him time to pull himself together. Seeing Josh would also remind him where he should NOT go with Jade. He sighed heavily and wondered if it was possible to actually fall in LOVE this quickly, or if maybe he was just imagining it because she was so sweet. As he re-lived that last kiss in his mind, he was sure he was in love. "God.." he groaned and then decided to get his head together, since he was pulling into Josh's parking lot. He found Josh's car, and even SAW the notebook laying on the backseat. He tried the door and found it locked. "Shit. Why all of a sudden is he locking the car door?" he complained, because Josh usually left it open. He took himself to Josh's door and knocked lightly, but with no answer. He tested the doorknob, wondering if he was worse when he didn't answer the door and found THAT one unlocked. He turned it and pushed the door open. "HEY JO--" he started to yell and suddenly all the breath left his lungs at what he saw with his own two eyes. It took him a minute to gather his wits and act, the scene before him was so graphic and lewd, and the participants had NO idea he was standing there. Josh was sprawled out on his back, with his knees up and his feet flat on the floor. The woman with him was straddling his head and had her mouth wrapped around his cock, sucking on it like there was no tomorrow. He could see and hear them moaning and he could only imagine what Josh was occupied with, as her hips gyrated above his head. He slowly backed up and tried to exit the scene, but as he did the woman raised her head to lick him like a lollipop, her eyes closed in pleasure as she wiggled her hips more quickly. He remembered Josh's keys and snaked them off the table by the door, as all the wind left his lungs. He quickly and quietly closed the door practically sprinting back to his car. He remembered again when he saw Josh's keys in his hand and went for the notebook as fast as he could, thanking providence that his subconscious was working enough to know that he'd have some explaining to do if he showed up without that notebook Jamie had to have so bad. He tossed it into his car, left the keys on Josh's seat, jumped into his vehicle and sped off, trying hard to get his thoughts in order before he had to look Jade in the eyes. Ike drove in a daze, almost missing the driveway to the bar parking lot. Hi whole conversation with himself on the way there was an argument, a wrestling with his own conscience. But which would be worse? Telling Jade that Josh was sleeping with her cousin, and breaking her heart? Or letting her find out on her own, and make it worse. He desperately wanted to tell her, knowing that Josh would be 'to the curb' as Jamie would say, and then he'd be free to pursue her. But the more he thought about it, the more his sense of honor told him to keep his big mouth shut. After all, if he was to start seeing Jade (and this afternoon gave him every indication that if Josh was out of the picture she WOULD be his) it would look like maybe he made the whole thing up, just to win her. And that would just make HIM look like an ass, and probably Jade would even believe it. After what he just saw, he didn't think Josh was above concocting a story to make it look like he acted out of jealousy, trying to win her regardless of nyne else's feelings. He pulled into the parking lot, parked his car, grabbed the notebook for Jamie and strengthened his resolve not to breathe a word to Jade and be there wehn she needed him. And she would, Josh was getting sloppy. Even HE could see that. Issac scanned the bar and found his group setting things up and already working on the beer. Zac was being his goofy, obnoxious self, trying to make all the girls laugh. Taylor was busy helping Jamie get her drumkit together, and Jade was testing knobs and buttons on their sound equipment. He made his way toward the group, clutching that notebook more tightly under his arm and swallowing his desire to tell Jade everything and whisk her out of there. "JAMESON!!" Jade yelled to Jamie over the laughter of the other four girls, who were enthralled by Zac's antics. Jamie's head popped up and she shot a blinding smile at Jade. " 'SUP HOME....SLIIICE...Whaddaya need?" Jamie yelled back. Jade grinned, that sweet dimpled mischevious one, and Isaac's heart began to melt. Jade mimicked putting on a headset and mouthed the word 'TEST'. "DUUUUDE...YOU GOT IT!" Jamie answered and quickly pulled her headset on and flipped the switch. "HEY!!!" Jamie yelled into her headset, grinning when the rest of the group, busy hooking up their guitars to the sound equipment and the like, winced. "YEAH... WE HEAR YA.." Tami yelled and rolled her eyes, chuckling when Jamie's face broke into a self-satisfied grin. Taylor hopped down from the short stage and strode toward his brother, beer in hand. "That was fast.." he said when he reached him. "How's Josh?" Taylor asked him. "Peachy.." Ike snapped sarcastically, took Taylor's beer from his hand and drank it all at once. "Dude...what the hell?" Taylor chuckled lightly, then stopped when Ike grabbed Zac's beer and finished it. 'Shit..' he thought to himself and instinctively looked at Jamie. Jamie immediately felt Taylor's stare and looked into his eyes. Jamie wondered what the heck was wrong, until she saw Ike down Zac's beer and stare mooney-eyed at Jade. "Fuck Josh.." she mouthed at Taylor when Ike wasn't looking and grinned wickedly. She immediately burst into a loud fast drum solo, startling everyone in the room into a stunned silence. Taylor couldn't help but smile, as he motioned to the waitress to bring another round of beer, Jamie's distraction antics were much like Zac's and he knew she was already keyed-up with anticipation to play. She finished up with a loud, fast drum roll, then twirled her drumsticks in the air and crashed down on them one more time. "HEEEEEELLLL YEAH!!! WOOOOOOO!!!!" she hollered into the headset, her voice reverberating through the bar, only populated by the band, bar staff the Hanson's and a couple of local 'POWERBOX' groupies. The limited population cheered wildly anyhow, except for Ike, as Jamie stood up behind the drumkit and stuffed her drumsticks in her back pocket. "JADELEIGHBOO!! Bring me a beer, babe...I need to chill or I'll crash before the second set's over.." she tossed her head back and laughed. Taylor smiled brightly at her and took a sip of the beer the waitress brought him when she winked at him, the pulled her headset of and ran her hand through her hair. He watched Ike closely as Jade grabbed the waitress, snagged a couple of beers off the tray, gave her the most wicked grin he'd seen on her sweet face, and moved toward Jamie. Jade handed Jamie a bottle of beer and smiled, then mouthed the word 'SPAZ'. Ike almost cracked a real smile, and Jamie just laughed out loud. Taylor leaned in toward Ike, before Jade and Jamie reached them. "Are you gonna tell her?" he asked, making Ike look at him in shock. "I knew, so does Jame..but we hadn't decided what to do yet.." he said softly. |
