Isaac was completely amazed and grinning broadly as Jade and Jamie approached them. "You did great, Jade." he said proudly and hugged her. Jade blushed and looked up at him, then reluctantly removed herself from his embrace.  "I kind of didn't have a choice.." she grinned sheepishly and reached for her beer. She took a long gulp to calm her shaky hands, then turned on Jamie, who was deep in conversation with Taylor and Zac.

"I cannot believe you guys just did that to  me.." she stated firmly, her hand on her hip, leaving Jamie gaping at her. "Close your mouth Jameson. That was not even fair and you KNOW how I feel about playing on front of PEOPLE." she said. "I'm sorry Jadeleigh..." Jamie began, quickly thinking of a way to soothe her friend and keep her palying with the band. She wanted nothing more than to get rid of Angel's backstabbing self and see Josh go right along with her. It was obvious to her that Ike and Jade were menat for each other, and also that Jade had talent, the kind that made Jamie WANT to play with her (or any other musician for that matter). She did NOT want jade to get scraed and quit before she started. "But you have to admit, we work well together. AND, your voice is waay better than Angel's. Your personality and style is more suited to us than Angel is. You said yourself you thought some scout would pack her off to Disney.." Jamie grinned and took a swig off her beer. Taylor and Zac exchanged amused glances, knowing that every word Jamie was saying was true. "Just rehearse with us for a couple of weeks Jadeleigh...please?" Jamie asked batting her eyelashes humorously at her friend. Jade couldn't help but giggle and wondered exactly how much Jamie had had to drink, she was starting to get mushy.

"Do it for me.." Ike suddenly added his voice low. "Just try it, Jade. I think you will be surprised." he said looking deeply into her eyes. Their warmth and encouragement affected her before she knew they had. "Okay..." she answered him softly and took another pull off her beer. "Just rehearsals though. And who is gonna tell Angel?" she asked of no one in particular. "The pleasure will be all mine..." Jamie offered, a wicked glint in her eye, that neither Tay, nor Zac had seen before. "Oh shit..." Zac mumbled and took another drink of his beer. "What about Josh, Jade?"
"I can handle Josh, Zac. Don't worry about that." Jade swallowed a huge gulp of beer and wrestled for a moment with what she would say to Josh when the moment came. Her inner argument ended quickly, though, when she felt Isaac's hand on the small of her back.
"Isaac..." she murmured softly and stepped away. "Sorry." he muttered, then grinned at her. "You really were great, Jade. Will you sing with Jamie some more...tonight I mean...please?"
"Oh Ike...I dunno..." she looked around for anyone that would help her beg off of his request. Butterflies abounded in her tummy and she felt her hands begin to shake. "Please, Jade?" he asked her again, then Jamie jumped on tha bandwagon.

"Yeah Jadeleigh! Come on, homegirl..."

"Jameson..." Jade's stomach did a giant flip-flop. She looked at the faces surrounding her and held up her hands in protest. "Okay...but Jamie.."

"I will NOT leave your side girlfriend!" Jamie wrapped her alcohol-heavy arm around Jade's neck and pressed her lips to her friend's ear. "C'mon Jadeleigh-boo..." she giggled so only her friend could hear her. "If you're not gonna 'give in to the given' at least let the man moon over you when you sing.."
"Shut up, Jame." Jade answered, making her friend gape at her. "Don't talk to me about 'giving in to the given' 'till you can take your own advice. And slow down on the beer, you promised him and I don't want to see another re-play of last night." Jade stated matter-of-factly.The shocked look on Jamie's beautiful features made Jade feel instantly bad, and the rest of the group curious. jade wrapped her arm around Jamie's neck and squeezed. "I'm sorry Jameson. If I sing..you HAVE to agree to at least discuss the possibility that you LOVE him. And if you don't slow down on the beer you will be too hungover to COOK tomorrow night."

"Oh shit...." Jamie moaned softly and squeezed her friend in return. "Okay...just come play music with me. I don't wanna think, now."

"What else is new?" Jade remarked, then turned her gaze on the rest of the group. "O-KAY! But I will not sing unless Jameson is in my line of vision.."

A cheer went up from the little group as the band set their drinks down and climed up to their places on the stage.

Isaac glanced questioningly at his brothers, who shrugged, since they were just as lost as he was. The band began another song and all three watched intently as Jamie managed to lead the group and put Jade at ease as they played.
