Calley sat through their performance, wishing she could disappear. Not that she didn't enjoy their music, they always left her awed, but she could not let herself get totally into it with Adam sitting next to her watching HER every move instead of the band. She scanned the crowd and caught sight of the cute, dark-haired girl that Taylor had been talking with all evening and felt a huge pang of jealousy, along with the proverbial knife twisting in her chest. The girl watched Tay with a slight smile and an expression Calley couldn't quite put her finger on, and Taylor went out of his way to return her gaze a little longer than he did most of the people in the audience. She shifted in her chair uncomfortably and pressed her lips together, then took a long sip of her drink. Her gaze met Zac's as he sat on his stool, singing and keeping the beat with his shaker. She felt her face get hot and she swallowed back anger as he gave her a wry, know-it-all, grin.
He grinned wider as he sensed her anger and discomfort, then winked at her, making her absolutely furious.

Taylor groaned inwardly as he caught the last exchange between Calley and Zac. He figured he'd have to ream Zac in a huge way to get him to lay off, but at least he knew where to go first if he ever needed serious back up. His eyes scanned the crowd as they finished the song and they briefly met Calley's angry gaze. He almost smiled apologetically, until he saw Adam put his arm around her shoulder and pull her closer, then kiss her cheek. 'Yeah...' he thought sarcastically, 'what an ass..' He quickly looked away, and caught Courtney's eye. He gave her a slight smile in return and then they launcehd into another song. They thanked the crowd and then left the stage, all on the high they experienced after a performance.

"Hey..." Courtney smiled as Taylor finally approached her. "Hey." she gave her a blinding smile and then asked the bartender for a drink. "That was awesome Taylor. I really liked the new song." she said honestly. "Thanks." he sipped his drink and looked around for his brothers. "Hang on a second Court.." he smiled and her heart thudded loudly as he casually shortened her name. "I'm just gonna grab Ike and Zac, before Zac gets all squirrely." he sipped his drink and set it down. "Don't go away.." he told her with a grin. "Yeah..sure.." she breathed and watched as he got his brothers' attention and they followed him back to the bar, both smiling and asking the bartender for a drink, before turning their full attention to her.

"Do you want to tell me what that was all about?" Adam asked Calley as the Hanson's left the stage. "What was what all about?" she asked, looking innocently up at him. "That youngest Hanson boy. What was his name? Zac?" he prodded, "Why was he winking at you? Or maybe a better question is, why did that make you so angry, Cal?"
"I don't have a clue as to what you're talking about Adam." she lied. "He's used to being on stage and interacting with a crowd, it's his job. He does it well I might add. I HAVE seen them play before." she told him. "He's done more than wink at a female or two I'm sure. Why should that make me angry?" she asked. "It shouldn't. But it did, Calley. I want to know WHY, now." he demanded. "I wasn't angry, Adam. You're imagning things." she looked defiantly at him. "Was I?" he asked, taking her arm. "Yes. I need to use the ladies room, please let go of me." she said through gritted teeth. He released his grip on her arm and nodded in the direction of the restrooms.

Taylor introduced Courtney to his brothers, then sat back and listen as the three of them talked excitedly about all kinds of subjects. He was impressed with Courtney's ability to hold her own against Zac's skewed sense of humor. When Courtney finally brought Taylor back into the conversation, he was relaxed and barely noticed when Zac excused himself and followed Calley outside.

"Well hello there." Zac grinned at Calley, mischeviously. "Is this the ladies room?" he asked. "'Cause I could have SWORN that's what you said to him." He tucked his hair behind his ears and waited for her to answer him. "Zac.." she growled. "Bite me you little shit." her brows were knit and her arms were folded over her chest. Zac chuckled. "Oh you wanna take me up on my offer then, is that it?" he asked, smiling and moving closer to her. Calley took a step back. "Don't go there, virgin-boy." she snarled back. "Oooh...I like a feisty woman.." he teased. "Virgin boy.." he chuckled. "If I still was I'd want YOU to take it from me baby.." he teased. "But I could make you scream louder than Taylor ever could." He grinned and waited for her reply, he couldn't BELIEVE she was buying this shit. "Oh really? And how do you KNOW that?" she asked and stepped back again. He leaned forward, effectively cornering her against the pillar that held the patio above
their heads. "'Cause my dick is bigger, loaded, and I," he stressed the word, "actually know how to use it." he whispered directly in her ear. he leaned back and looked at her, then laughed at her expression of shock. "I'm telling ya baby...you'll just fuck Tay, fuck him up and he'll be about useless. I don't give a shit. UUUUSSSEEE MEEEE...." he teased, making a mock-pained face at her, then waited for a response. "Oh fuck you..' she growled and stormed away. "That's what I'm waiting for.." he laughed, shoved his hands in his pockets and strolled back inside to rejoin his brothers.

Taylor looked up, shocked to see Calley storming over to Adam. He watched as she demanded to be taken home and groaned inwardly when he saw Zac stroll in non-chalantly with a cat-who-ate-the-canary look on his face. 'Oh my god what did he say this time?' he thought as he set his drink down and excused himself, leaving Ike and Courtney to chat. They barely noticed he'd left. Taylor cornered Zac near the second set of doors that led to the patio outside. "What the hell did you SAY to her?" Taylor demanded to know, nodding in Calley's direction. Zac chuckled. "Nothing man. I was just trying to joke around with her and she got all huffy. Guess she's going home with 'evil-incarnate' now." he said and Taylor groaned, knowing Zac had been extremely rude. Zca made an exasperated face at his brother. "I'll kick your ass all over this patio, Tay. I swear to GOD, I will." Zac warned as he watched the wheels turn in Taylor's head, knowing he was looking for a
way to speak to her, to apologize for HIS behavior. "If she wants HIM to take her to THEIR home, let her go. And I'm not sorry for a word I said anyway." he told Taylor. "Not my fault if she can't take a freakin' joke." he gave his brother another warning glance and then went back to the bar for another drink.

Taylor looked over and saw Adam mouth a distinct 'NOT NOW' to Calley, then watched as she excused herself politely. He saw Adam's expression soften and he could tell he was asking her to give him just a few more minutes then he would take her home. 'I need some air then' Tay saw her mouth and then she went back out onto the patio. Taylor quickly followed her, looking around to make sure no one was watching before her grabbed her wrist.
