Four American POW's, even though the fellow in the blue jacket is wearing a British Airman's coat. He may have traded for it. Or, perhaps, was issued it at the Reception camp after going through the Interrogation Camp at Frankfurt. (These were members of the crew of the fellow who retrieved his camera. His daughter didn't know what to do with his pictures after his death, so sent them on to his plane's pilot, Bill Nicholes, of Woodbury Heights, N.J. I met Bill at Princeton, New Jersey, at an Elderhostel session. By sheer coincidence we discovered we were both POW's at Barth. He offered me these photos. It's truly a small, small world!)
