Soliloquy for a Rose Tangled among the prickly stems and ever fragrant leaves, A rose dispelled the misty morn, and left it's sweetened scent with me. Eglantine, of a sunrise hue; ne'er could softer petals glow. Spirits bloom; quell earthly fears, Sweetbrier- oh how your goodness shows! Oft we wander lonely roads - left of right, or inbetween; In the darkness comes the light - obsidian to tourmaline. Oft we wonder, where's the answer? Quantum ... God creates the prose. Unforsaken, with his promise, you his servant, sent the rose ... Joy A. Burki-Watson |
