totus  teres atque rotundus

Thanks for dropping by!

"totus teres atque rotundus" is a phrase from Horace in the Satires.  Means "complete, polished and round", describing the Stoics' conception of a wise man as one who rolls smoothly through life.  I'm not egotistical enough to call myself wise, but I am polished and round (has something to do with the top of the head and the size of the waist!). The complete part is still under construction.

I'm a 48-year old guy who lives in Atlantic Canada (those are the provinces which border on the Atlantic Ocean).  It's generally a quiet, peaceful part of the world, mostly free from the problems that you find in large urban areas.  It's one of the reasons I choose to live here.

I enjoy meeting new people and developing new cyberfriends.  If you'd like, drop me a note and I'll get back to you.

Take good care of you!
