| The Grace Notes are composed of Faye Jarvis, Dixie Arnett, and Bruce Langley and have been singing for over two years. The trio attends Hall's Community Church in Brookfield, Georgia and weekly contributes to the music program of that assembly. Faye Jarvis plays the keyboard for the group, as well as offering her rich alto voice in beautiful harmonies. She also has been used in the ladies' ministry blessing many lives with her overcoming testimony of victory through hardships and loss. She and her mother, the late Bertha Simmons were well known for their duets throughout the central and south Georgia area. Dixie Arnett offers a valuable contribution of her soprano voice and an unusually anointed ability of playing the harmonica. Having played for such Tifton groups as the Carpenters for the Democratic National Convention and the Georgia Ramblers, Dixie beautifully complements the Grace Notes with heartfelt musical renditions . Bruce Langley adds the baritone/tenor parts and contributes with the sounds of the accoustic guitar. Bruce also plays piano and fiddle to broaden the versatility of the group. The Grace Notes have regularly performed for the Tifton, Georgia Agrarama Agricultural Center and have also appeared at the Mossy Creek Arts and Crafts Festival of Perry, Georgia one of the top five festivals in the country. They have also performed at Reid Bingham State Park , The Sportsman's Festival of Adel, and various community functions of South Georgia. They especially enjoy singing in a wide variety of churches in the area and have been blessed to share with many their testimony and worship. |
