Jesus is a Sellout
Religion is always talking about anit-materialistic ideas and how money is not important. How you can be happy without money as long as you have faith. If this is true, then Jesus is one hypocritical fellow. He must make mad money off the things he sells! There are "What Would Jesus Do" t-shirts, key chains, etc. Is this necessary? Does one need to buy articles of clothing with the word "Jesus" printed on it to prove their faith? Now "Jesus," or should I say major clothing companies, try to get people to buy these items by making the slogans more "modern," more "hip," by taking already existing shirts and replacing words on them with "Jesus." I think J.C. would be stirring in his grave if he knew what kinds of evil are taking place in his name. Besides murders, money is also being made. Greed does not follow the teachings of the Bible, and trying to acquire as much money as possible is very greedy.
Christianity is the only religion that makes money off of their beliefs by selling clothing. This may be because they are the main religion that presses their beliefs on others. But since Christians are making money off the name of thier "savior," shouldn't the other religions join in? Here's my idea...A "Buddah Rocks My Socks Off" t-shirt will solve the problem of having to pay to be a member of a church, synagogue, etc. They will make all their money off of "There is no wrong way to eat a Muhammed" socks. So then people won't have to pay to have beliefs anymore!
In conclusion, Jesus is a sellout. He used to be all about healing the sick and being the "son of god." He dropped all of his beliefs just to make money. People shouldn't be mad at bands selling out anymore. Be mad when the "Messiah" sells out! It seems that now-a-days you need to sell your soul in order to make an honest buck.
