Tip Tricks:

How to do an Ollie:

Ollies are one of the simplest tricks in skateboarding today but when you first get on a board it is really hard but everybody has to start somewhere. The first thing to do when you are about to do a ollie is do a couple of tick tacks and move along slowly and find out if you are goofy or regular. Goofy is when your left foot is on the kicker and regular is when your right foot is on the kicker it does not matter whitch one you are. Put one foot on the kick the other just under half way up the board. Then snap down on the kicker with your back foot then slide your front foot up the middle a tiny bit remenber up the middle not the edge. When the board levels out that is the hight of your ollie. Keep practising and your ollie will get higher.

How to do Kickflips:

Now you are up to the flips. When i first saw a kickflip i thought it would be really hard to do but when i had a go i found it was pretty easy and about two weeks later i had then suss. First get warmed up and do a couple of ollies. Put your back foot on the kick and your front foot half way up the board on a 25 degree angle. Do a ollie then slide your foot up the side of the board until it goes off the top. Let the board flip over once then catch the board with your back foot and land with both feet on.

How to do  Pop Shuv-its and shuv-its

A pop shuv-it is when your board does a 180 clockwise turn and you stay still. The differents between a shuv-it and pop shuv-it is a pop shuv-it is a lound pop on your kick and a shuv-it has little. To do a pop shuv-it you need to stand as if you were going to do an ollie pop your kick down then slide your back foot back let the board do a 180 then land back on it.

A shuv-it is basically the same as a pop shuv-it. Do a couple of ollie just to get warmed up and ready to do a shuv-it. Start off like a ollie and instead of poping the kick just side your foot along the back kick let the board do a 180 land and roll away.
