Ida Family Reunion 2002 Information Letter        June 7-9 th in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

I have a group reservation at the Fairfield Inn @ 9020 East 71st Street in Tulsa.  918-252-7754 .  Just ask for the Ida Reunion Group (Brent is the Asst. Gen Mgr) .  $68.95+tax  per night for double queen beds.

You are more than welcome to come on Thursday  and check-in to the hotel and come visit.   However, you can probably arrive Friday morning, go to Cap house activities and then check-in the motel in the afternoon and not miss any activities.


Friday June 7th

Morning : Gather together @ Al Cap's house in Tulsa 10612 East 99th Street
                See map below. 9:00 am - 12:00 pm  Cap's phone #  250-3648- cell 381-8521

Morning / Quilt Day go visit one of the many quilt stores in the Tulsa area
              Quilt fabric exchange!!  It will be a patriotic fabric exchange.
                4" squares and 2X22" strips.  Same sizes as in past years.

Lunch @ Al Cap's house 12:00 pm    Deli food.

Afternoon People not interested in quilting".: Tour computer stores and woodworking shops,
                Visit Cap's Custom Cabinet shop.  (Watch Roxanne work the router)
"People not interested in quilting" go back to the motel for a nap, or go for a walk, go to a nearby park or shopping mall.
"Interested Quilters" "Show & tell" of quilt projects we completed throughout the year.
Evening :      6:00 p.m.      Meal:  your on your own. Many eateries on 71 st Street

Saturday June 8th

Morning :         Breakfast on your own.

9 AM to Noon: PARK LOCATION HAS CHANGED TO HAIKEY      
                        CREEK PARK SEE MAP BELOW.  

                        Come to the park at your leisure we will be there from
                 9am you come anytime.  If you get lost call 918-381-8521
                        Meet at the  Park for picnic, fishing, water balloon fight,
                        walking, hiking, running, Frisbee, whiffle ball, cookout  \
                        @ park
                 We could have our family meeting @ the park in the afternoon. Or
Late Afternoon:   Nap time

Evening :          Evening :    6:00 p.m.  Get together (everybody) @ Ryan's
                        Steakhouse  74th & Memorial St. 918-250-5502   
                        for buffet meal.

                         Photo time.  Roxanne gives Ida family tree tutorial. Look
                         through scrapbook.  Play board games, cards, popcorn,
                         lemonade.


Sunday June 9th

Morning :         10:00 - 11:00 Gather together @ the Cap's house  for brunch before returning home.
