Thinking of Volunteering?
WEEKdays is an after-school tutorial program designed for students in
Grade 8 through 11 who need extra help in Math, Science, and/or English. Tutors are assigned one student for a term, or for the entire year.   ESL students often require assistance with written assignments in several subjects: vocabulary development and editing are a major focus of the tutoring session.

Female university students who volunteer their time on a weekly basis to tutor commit to a full term of volunteering on a Monday or Wednesday from approximately 3:00 to 5:45 throughout term.  (September to  December; and/or January to late April or early May)

Candidates may submit an application form and cover letter.  Before an interview is granted, candidates must attend an open house.

Students from the University of Toronto can find more detailed information posted  online
Career Centre for the U of T.
volunteer application package

Volunteers should send the resume and a cover letter by e-mail.  Please include an photocopy of your transcript of marks.  Once your have  attended an open house, an official application form will be provided and an interview will ensue.  Click on the link above for more specifics.
