Pittsburgh is a medium sized city in the South West of Pennsylvania in the US - towards the Ohio border. So, we can say tthat we live just east (Shadyside) of a city (Pittsburgh) on the west of a state (Pennsylvania) in the east of the country (USA) in the west of the globe!
Shadyside is right next to the Oakland area where the universities and the museums of Pittsburgh have their home. Ruvan's second 'leg' of the sabbatical is at one of these: Carnegie Mellon University which is just 15 min. walk from where we live.
Devaka's school (liberty) is more or less 'down the road' from us, while Saheli attends a pre-school and a toy library a little beyond.
While in Pittsburgh, we had the privilege of visiting Toronto and Niagara Falls just across the Canadian border and Washington DC. Ruvan also attended a and visited friends in San Jose State University.
We also made other friends in Pittsburgh at various stages of our stay.
