Upstate Support Groups
Support groups are parents (or legal
guardians) committed to providing information and practical help that addresses
the concerns of homeschooling parents. Most offer curricular advice, support
meetings, field trips, classes, and other varied activities. Membership in a
support group does not constitute compliance with SC homeschool laws; members of
a support group also need to choose an option such as an accountability
association, or approval of a local school district as specified in 59-65-40,
59-65-45, or 59-65-47.
