Hi! I'm Ed.

The Battle of the Brothers
The Tour of Brotherly Love
C R O W A S I S
New World Music Theater (Tweeter Center) May 20th, 2001!!
Read about it here.
I finally stopped fantasizing about how I am going to meet Ed next time, and wrote about our adventures at the Crowes concert. Read about it above. It is ironic, the process of pursuing a
favorite musician. In order to hope to meet him, one must realize that he
is a real, live human being the same as one's very own self. Yet the
process of pursuit holds so many obstacles and let downs that one risks
losing reality to mere myth and admiration to idolatry. Indeed something
close to idolatry is necessary to maintain one's motivation in the vigerous
pursuit of a favored perforamer such as Eddie Harsch.
After the concert, naturally the security would not allow me to see
Eddie, no matter how loudly I wailed. I considered jumping in a trash
can in the hope of being wheeled into to back lot. The moral of the story is that Ed is a beautiful man.
If you, too, are a fan of Ed's, please do e-mail me at lvelynora@yahoo.com, and we'll make converstation.
OR if you were at a concert of the current Tour of Brotherly Love and would like to help me out by sharing your experience and memories, feel free to e-mail me and I will post your comments here.
I am not your normal fanatic. Dedicating a webpage to praising a performer is not a natural thing for me and I'm not quite sure how it is done. If you have suggestions for how I might better my efforts, feel free to express them.
Awhile back I received an encouraging letter from a guy who bumped into Ed. I'm excited. Looks like I just need to find a less strict venue. Here's what Nicolo had to say about his brotherly love experience:
I went to the Tour of brotherly love on June 9th,
the last night of the Radio City 3 night stand. Anyway,
I wanted to meet Audley Freed, (but I ended up meeting
Rich and ED). Well After 1 hour of waiting, I saw Eddie
come out, he came right past me and nobody seemed to know him,
they were all Oasis fans. I was in complete shock because
Ed had just actually bumped into me on his way out of Radio City Music
Hall. I then asked him for a picture and autograph etc... Honestly, the
coolest guy I have ever met.
Ed Rencontrer Nombre Deux:
John saw the Black Crowes at the Odeon, a little 800 capacity club, on their mini tour of small clubs in 1998. Here's what he has to say,
"It was a great show! Before the show, when walking from our car, we saw Ed at an ATM. It seemed like no one knew who he was! We didn't bother him since I'm not much of the starstruck type-though it would be great to party with the Crowes!"
Thanks guys, for sharing and for your well wishes, as I continue to pursue Eddie Harsch.
