On a NSW cert...Church of England...William and Isabella were of Melbourne...married 4 December 1839 at The Parish of St. James, Melbourne, in the county of Bourke. The witnesses were of Melbourne as well. They were married in Melbourne .....page looks good....

From on Friday, 22 May, 2009 William arrived in Melbourne on the Enterpize from Launceston in October 1836. I think this is William, son of William?? A little more information I can add on William Harrison is that he had 1 child with his first wife Margaret McAllister, Isabella who died as an infant. Margaret died in August 1899. He then married Jessie Aldrich on 16 April 1901, aged 57, and had 3 daughters, Emma, Jessie (my grandmother) and Olive. Olive passed away only 3 years ago aged 99. Quite a span of generations from William born in 1841 to his daughter passing away in 2006!

William Harrison and Isabella Grant were in Victoria from c1840, and their two sons were baptised at St James Church of England, Melbourne. They are also on my new Harrison in Port Phillip page

There are 2 called Horace Washington Harrison, first born 1848 at Avon River Victoria son of Jane and John, and second born 1879 in Fitzroy son of Laura Augusta Armstrong and Ernest Harrison (who is also a son of Jane and John Harrison who were in Victoria 1839). So two Harrison men wed girls called Violet Maud!
