Intrigued by the thick, red velvet binding and golden letters, you wander over to the Philosophy book and open it up. On the first page, you find several neatly written quotations:
Presence
Look
in the mirror. What do you see? A personage in high school, average height, so
forth. Well, look again and look harder. If you get really good at it, then you
can see what you really are. I'm not talking about the hair, I'm talking about
SOUL. What kind of person are you anyway? Take time out and really think about
it. Evaluate who you really are. No, I don't mean criticizing every little flaw;
I mean the good stuff. Think about the times when you really shone, or when you
felt really good. Also, discover your good qualities and hidden talents! You may be surprised. Feel happy and have some fun! Everything will come into perspective
if you are contemplating something. Smile and your self image will look up. If
at times, you feel down, or really don't know what to do, look in the mirror and
see your true self.
