Shows and Trips

Casino Rama $3 per trip, includes free lunch voucher. Bring photo identification. Coaches leave from our parking lot on Hinton Road.  RAMA trips will be leaving at 8.30 am. and returning at approximately 5.00 pm. Cards

Cribbage is organized by Edythe Brookes 416-749-8409 and played in the lounge Monday afternoons at 1.00 pm. Euchre is run by Tom Mingo 416-249-3679 and played in the lounge Monday evenings at 7.00 pm; Thursday evenings at 7.00 pm; many Saturday evenings at 7.00 pm. Beginners at the game will be taught. Bid Euchre is led by Vern Mueller 416-745-7049 and played in the main room on Thursday evenings at 7.00 pm. Social Advanced Bridge is supervised by Helena Kucharska 416-741-7414 and played in the main room on Thursday evenings at 7.00 pm.

Bowling

5-Pin Bowling while not actually played on the premises, is associated with the club and many members of the bowling teams are also members of West Acres Seniors' Social Club. Edythe Brooks 416-749-8409 is the organizer and it is played at 'Bowlerama' Rexdale Boulevard on Tuesday afternoons at 1.00 pm. Carpet Bowling is run by Art Howells 416-741-0718 and is played in the main room on Friday evenings at 7.00 pm. Lawn Bowling.  The Rexdale Lawn Bowling Club operates from May to October on the grounds at West Acres. Membership is open to all ages and a fee of $90 per season is required to participate. The coordinator is Larry Fryer 905-532-0980.
