Each Unit Owner is free to sell or lease his or
her apartment unit, without restriction or limitation. As was outlined in the
original Condominium Offering Plans, a permanent contribution of capital was
assessed against each original purchaser of an apartment unit from the Sponsor
equal to two months of common charges. The purpose of this permanent
contribution of capital was to provide each building with a working capital fund for capital items and/or emergencies. Buyers of an apartment unit today would be expected to reimburse the current owners the two month permanent contribution of capital charges. You may want to read this before you buy a condominium unit.
