This is our YMCA philosophy. The final score is not what is important to us. We want the kids to have fun and have a positive experience while they are with the YMCA. It is up to the coaches to pass along our philosophy.

Coaches and Spectator's Code

1) Remember that children play organized sports for their own fun. They are not there to entertain you, and they are not minature pro athletes. 2)Be on your best behavior. Don't use profane language or harass player, coaches, parents, or referees. 3)Applaud good plays by your child's team and by the opposing team. 4)Show respect for your team's opponent. 5)Never ridicule or scold a child for making a mistake during the game. 6)Respect the referees' decisions. This is a fun recreational league. 7)Encourage players to always play by the rules. 8)Keep in mind the four YMCA steps to character development: Caring, Honesty, Responsibility, and Respect
