WORKSHOPS
Workshops form the basis by which members support and assist other members with skills and techniques required in cloth dollmaking.

Monthly "adhoc" workshops are conducted during the course of a meeting providing tips, hints and sometimes "crafty" innovations that can be used in dollmaking.

Formal workshops are conducted by members who are designers and teachers in their own right.  They usually conduct a specific pattern workshop and their insight and instructions are invaluable to the novice and experienced alike. Select
DESIGNERS to obtain their contact details.

Overseas designers and instructors normally conduct workshops at the request of individual Australian doll clubs. Western Dollmakers generally know which designers will be available for the upcoming year. These workshops are generally well attended.

The Clay over Cloth Face Workshop in July demonstrated the ability to add dimension in a face without sculpting the entire head, add muscles, backbone etc. or alternatively fill in seams just using air drying clay
