Jane's Web

Another  year of surfing has passed and Jane is amazed by the number of TV/TG resources which continue to emerge on the web. Cross dressing is for many a lonely existence but the number of home pages which are appearing prove once and for all that you are definitely not alone.

As the web continues to grow in the U.K. there has been a big increase in the number of related U.K. owned sites. This is good news as they tend to include useful UK resources and links.

Jane has exchanged e-mail with lots of lovely people thanks to the web and will continue to do this. Please drop me a line if you fancy a chat.

On a personal note Jane continues to dress in private with little sign of her coming out in the near future. Perhaps as the UK scene continues to develop I will find this easier to undertake.....for now the thought of it still terrifies me.

I know that several girls have successfully gone out and I would love to hear about their experiences. I doubt that I'll ever be a CD socialite but would be interested in stories of how going out has been accomplished discretely without going public if that makes sense. As my wife is understanding I'm sure that this is possible.

Well it's now over five years since Jane first surfed the Web and what an interesting time it's been.  The web has allowed me to talk to other CD's and make some good friends for the first time in almost 20 years of cross dressing. I'm not out of the closet yet but the door is open sufficiently for me to see the world even if it can't see the true me yet.

I am much more comfortable with my dressing. Whilst  I doubt I will ever truly understand what drives the desire to cross dress at least I now know that there are many others similarly afflicted and take comfort from this. The tips and advice that I have found during my web searches have been invaluable and they offer advice which only other CD's can really give.

If you've considered talking to others or setting up your own web page then my advice is try it...you'll love it and get to meet some nice people. Feel free to e-mail me if you want any advice or want to share your experiences with me.

Until recently Geocities was a great place to start your web site but recent changes and the takeover by Yahoo have severely affected this. Bandwidth restriction and other limitations have served to damage what was an excellent community.

It is likely that my site will also move away from Geocities when the updates are completed.. The best advice I can give for now is to use whichever hosting company you are happy with and then try to get you site linked some of the major sites by offering a reciprocal link in return
