all of the fear and all of the lies

chapter two

Westlife were doing an interview for Smash hits in a posh hotel somewhere in the centre of London. Although Angela had been up to London with Shelley once or twice before she'd never met Westlife, she's been to plenty of concerts and seen them from a distance but never gone up a spoke to them, why should she? She acknowledged Westlife were a great band with great looking, nice enough lads, but to go and wait around dodgy backstage entrances was not her thing. Maybe if she'd have seen them in a nightclub. Or walking down the street, but she hadn't, they were international pop star sensations and at this moment in time she was a one of the sad, lonely girls who was waiting for the band outside a hotel. "What part of Ireland d'ya come from then?" A voice hit Angela from out of the crowd, That blonde girl who obviously thought she a high queen of Westlife fans and best mates with the band was talking to her in her thick London accent and chewing on gum "Em, Me? Dublin, Why?" "Oh, well, I suppose you pop round to Nicky and Bryan's house all the time and did ya go to Nicky's birthday party, well did ya wait outside, have you ever seen them in the centre of Dublin? Did you see the on the BSB tour? Have you ever met Nicky's mum? Isn't she lovely? Do ya know what hotel they stay in Dublin? What was the goss at Day in the Park? Does Bryan really go clubbing all the time when he's home" By this time Angela was pondering the prospects of hanging her self off scaffolding on a near by building site and Shelley was making it blatantly obvious that she was friends with this Irish girl who seemed to be the centre of attention. That is she WAS the centre of attention. Suddenly Angela and Shelley were crushed against each other and the piecing screams were once again present from every direction. Whether or not it was intentional Shelley found herself crushed right up against the barrier and right in place that Nicky and Bryan were walking towards. "Oh! How nice! They've decided to sign, it must be all your screams of "I love you Nicky" that have been disturbing the interview" Angela sneered. She was still spiteful from the last time Shelley had dragged her to London and they'd stood outside the BBC studios in the rain for 4 hours just to see Shane walk past.
