Photo ID Card for People Registered Blind/Legally Blind

We are campaigning that a nationally recognised ID Card be introduced for people registered blind/ visually impaired. The Card would contain these features.

• Photo
• Magnetic Strip (Encoded with personal details)
• Barcode (When scanned allows us to access your registration information)
• High Contrast Text (For better Visibility)
• Details in Braille (For easy Identification)
• Data Fields (Name, Address, Date of Birth, Visual Acuity etc. )
• Access to audio library. (Automatic audio library membership)

We are currently running a photo ID scheme. When we have more people on our database. We will apply to the House of Commons and ask that scheme be nationally recognised. To join the pilot scheme or to view samples of the pilot scheme cards. Please Contact Us!
