What Can i do on V-Teds Relay?

Setting up the Relay

V-Teds relay lets you be able to connect to westwood games servers without the need of the game/cd. A lot of people just use the westwood servers just to chat to online buddy's whilst they work on other projects and interests. and you can also get peoples ip addresses, page users, and more...

1)Once installed - open V-Teds relay 2)Input the nickname you wish to use 3)Ok we come to the password in which most people had problems with, with earlier releases of V-Teds relay. For information on getting your encrypted password scroll down the page 4)Ok serial, in order to access the TS server you will need a TS serial as well as RA2 you will need RA2 Serial Type in the serial 5)Select the Corresponding Server you wish to access 6)Mirc Port type in 6667 7)Proxy and raw commands leave alone unless you are an advanced user.

What do i need to use V-Teds Relay?

You need V-Teds relay itself, as well as mIRC, this is a internet chat client, this is how you talk in the servers. As well as the setup files - please note you cannot install V'Teds relay in the same place as the setup files, V-Teds relay will not run, put the set up files in a directory one below the relay

Getting Your encrypted password

1)Click Start and click Run 2)Type in "regedit" without the " " 3)Open HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT and Scroll down to a file called WChat - this holds all your nicks and passwords 4)Click on nick 1 or nick 2 until you find the nickname you have typed into the relay and click on the file called "password" 5)You will now see your password encrypted this is what you have to type into V-Teds relay password section

And Finally Connecting.

1)Ok at the bottom of V'Teds relay it will say "Ready" 2)Now Press start you will notice that were it said"start" will now change to "Connecting to TibChat.westwood.com" or connecting to ra2chat.west.... depending on what server you want to access. 3)When this changes to "receiving data from Tibchat.westwood.com" you are know ready to launch mirc. 4)Load Mirc Close the 1st window as its advert shit, so there is a blank white page with a text box at the bottom copy and paste the following into the text box "/server 127.0.0.1 6667" - do not copy the " ". If you are having trouble connecting as you get the message not connected to server, manually type 127.0.0.1 5)This will now load up a load of text and shit onto your screen ignore that. 6)A Pop-Up box will appear - Close That 7)in the Text box now type /list 8)A list of the lobby's will now appear click on one and you are now in WW Lobby without the use of the game WUG is in no way Responsable with what you with this program.
