Dora sighed as she woke the next morning. She paniced when she didn't reconize where she was. Suddenly, Sadikith's voice entered her mind. Dora, love, calm down. I'm here, Sadikith sighed, placing a paw on Dora's chest. Calm down. "I'm sorry, Sadikith," Dora sighed. "I guess I forgot." It's all right, love, Sadikith sighed. You're just not use to it, yet. I'm here for you. Nothing to worry about anymore. |
Dora smiled down at the white rainbow of a dragon, "I know, love. I know." Dora, I'm hungray. Can we go get something to eat? Sadikith crooned. "Certainly, dearheart," Dora sighed, pulling herself out of bed. "Let's go down to the kitchens and see if they have an scraps for us." Us? Sadikith crooned. "Well, I'm hungray, too," Dora laughed, stroking the white's muzzle. *** Sadikith leaped off of one of the large ledges in Keandyn Weyr. Dora shrieked as Sadikith crashed to the ground. "What do you think you're doing?" Dora exclaimed. Trying to fly like the older dragons, Sadikith said, leaping into the air again, only to fall once more. "Your wings aren't big enough to hold you up, Sadikith," Dora sighed. "When you're a Weyrling, you'll be able to fly." When I'm a Weyrling, Sadikith crooned, sadly. I can't wait that long! Dora smiled and caressed her white, "The time will fly, love. Before you know it, you'll be a Weyrling and then an adult." I don't want things to change, yet, Sadikith crooned, hugging Dora's leg. I like it like this. *** |
