Morning Star Weyr
Zearia stared at the skins before her - requests for candidacy at a hatching where the flight hadn't even happened yet. She'd be glad when the real weyrwoman was chosen, and she didn't have to deal with this stuff. Morning Star hadn't had there first flight yet. One of the dragons, Saiayth, was set to rise, but at a different weyr. Now Kaira, Saiayth's rider, would permently at Ocean Side until Saiayth rose and the eggs hatched. Zearia missed her since Kaira was usually the one that helped her with the sort of things she wasn't good at dealing with. Zearia's white fire lizard, Harli, zipped past her and onto the window ledge.
"Playing with Hirtan again?" Zearia laughed. Harli had resently clutched with Hirtan. The two were sending most of the time they weren't with their owners together. It amazed Zearia how much fire lizards were like dragons.
Zearia shuffed through the skins and found a request from
Turquoise Weyr and Sparkul Weyr for candidates. Morning Star always had an abundance of candidates, but had been sending them to their sister weyr, Ocean Side, lately because of Ocean Side's extreme lack of candidates.
Zearia sighed and began to fill out two forms for Turquoise and Sparkul Weyr's candidacy - she always kept extras of each weyr she had ever been to on hand - when she saw a notice on her desk about Morning Star Hold. She picked in up and looked at it.
Send a Flit

Weyrwoman Zearia
Morning Star Hold will be funcational within the next four sevendays. It has been rebuilt in secret as a surprise for Morning Star Weyr. It, however, has to be rename before it can open.
Zearia sighed. Another thing for her to do. GET A NEW NAME FOR MORNING STAR HOLD, she wrote in big letters on her to-do list. Zearia sighed and leaned back in her chair. There was an awful lot on the list, and she didn't know how she was going to get all of it done. What she needed was help.
A knock came at Zearia's door, and she looked up. There was Jikgon, acting Weyrleader for Morning Star Weyr. Neither Jikgon or Zearia had Impressed yet, but the reason they were the Weyrleaders was because they seemed most capable; although, Zearia thought Kaira should be Weyrwoman.
Zearia sighed and smiled at Jikgon. He held something in his hands.
"More requests for candidacy?" Zearia asked.
"No, residence this time. Two smithcrafters, a Harper, and a healer," Jikgon sighed. "All under twenty."
"Female or male?" Zearia asked as Harli circled her head.
"Three males one female," Jikgon said. "The female's the healer."
"Fine, send a reply saying they can come," Zearia sighed. "We're going to have to expand the Weyrfolk dorms though. Can you see if there are anymore caves in the crater?"
"All ready have," Jikgon sighed, sitting down. "We found over fifty more in an overhang above the Hatching Sands."
"Have the residents clean them out. I wish Kaira was here. She's much better at getting these people to work together than I am," Zearia sighed.
Jikgon nodded and started towards the Weyrfolks dorms, "I think you're doing fine, Zear."
Zearia smiled and laid back. Harli landed on her chest and curled up. Zearia pet Harli as she and Harli fell fast asleep.
