.... to his lips and he whistles happily as he walks. After a while of walking, as time seemed to ease by. Brim came upon the edge of the woods. With that he stops and looks out on an open field, with its tall wavering grass and multicolored flowers. Brim smiles again to himself for his luck on finding such beautiful sites to see. He steps out of the forest and into the sunlight and makes his way through the tall grass. To his left he notices the graceful flying seagull's again, same as the ones he had seen the whole way here on the ship. He could also make out the breaking waves upon the rocks of the shore.So Brim thinking happy thoughts again made his way on ward through the grass. After coming up over the crest of a hill. He could see now that the Bay of Branchala was off to his left.A smile came to him again, and with that thought he began to fish through some pouches and pulled out a wrinkled map. Looking down he decides this is a nice sopot and plops down on the soft grass. He then spreads out the map with delicate fingers out on his leg. After examining his surroundings and matching up a few points on the map, Brim agrees with himslef the Palanthas shouldn't be much father. He starts

To whislte a tune again and stands up. After putting the map away to find it later. He brushes himself off and startes down the hill through the grass again. After going over a few more hills Brim can see off in the distance a pretty well used looking road and its not too far off. He then begins to get a sort of hop in his step and makes his way forward again. Looking up in the sky, Brim sees the sun even isn't st its best yet and thinks happily that he wuill reach Palanthas and have lots of light to spare. By now he was almost to the road. Upon reaching the road, Brim agrees once more again after examining the map once more. That the road he is on leads striaght to Palanthas.
With that thought in his mind he began walking again. Along the road he walked stopping from time to time to inspect a shiny rock or to watch a strange insect crawl across the road. Before he knew it, he could see in the distance the walls and tall buildings just ahead of him. To the left out across the bay he could see the harbor of Palanthas. With the sounds of the city wafting through the air Brims step increased, to almost an all out run. With happy thought of things hes gonna see running through his mind also.
