| Day two Brim awoke on a pile of rope below deck. Looking around at his surroundings and relizing hes not in Balinesti and that it wasnt a dream, he is on a ship. With that thought he stretched and stood up. The morning air was still and salty. He stood there for alittle and then decided to go up on deck. All he could think about was going up to the crows nest and maybe get a birds eye view of the ship from up there. Well when he got up on deck the timing was right, the bongo playing look out was down below eating his morning breakfast. This gave him time to get up there and down before any one could complain. Looking around on deck he saw the helmsman was busy looking out to sea. Swiftly he made his way over to the net roping going up into the sails. Up and up he went, slipping only once when he reached out for a rope that wasnt there. But he caught himself and continued on his way. When he finally got to the crows nest he slid over the edge and hit the floor with a thud. He looked around inside and found thet there was a sort of shelf in there and on it where some items. There was a book and a long cylinder thingy. |
| Standing up now, he walked over to the edge and leaned against it Looking out over the ocean from this view was so much better then being down there and so he sat up the for hours it seemed. All the while watching the birds and the men on the deck below, go about doing their normal morning things. So Brim thought anyway. So there he sat and after a few things on the shelf being put in his pockets , mainly because he thought he should hold onto them so there dont fall out the nest. He was sure the bongo playing look-out didn't want to lose these items. So Brim decided to hold on to them, for safe keeping ofcourse.he made his way down out of the nest with out a problem and continued on his wanderings of the ship. Later in the day Brim was sitting next to the rail on the starboard side of the boat. He was here looking in to the water and wandering what was down below. Also if there was a way he could go down with out drowning. Leaning there for awhile he saw large dark shadows moving just under the waves. Leaning more and more over the edge he was just about completely off the rail when a hand gripped him up and pulled him back onto the ship. Getting put onto his feet Brim looked up and grinned... |
