| Welcome to Whiskey Bay Pits home on the web.We are a small,private kennel raising and showing American Pitbull Terriers on the Mississippi Gulf Coast .All dogs and puppies are UKC and/or ADBA registered at this time ,with dual registrations coming in the near future. Our standards include temperment, conformation, soundness, ability, and intelligence.Striving for working homes,weight pulling,and companions for the whole family.We raise quality and stability,not quantity.To better the APBT as individuals in their true form following the standards set by the great dogs of the past,not the fads of the present. All of our dogs and puppies have been raised and well socialized around adults,children ,and numerous other pets of different species.Our dogs are very intelligent,loving,and eager to please.Not only do our dogs make great family companions,they also posess drive suitable for for use in training and showing in Agility,Weight pulling,and K9 protection sports.Along with posessing the conformation and quality for the show ring. WBP takes pride in our breeding program.The health and well being of our dogs is our main priority. None of our dogs are bred until they have reached their overall maturity of the individual dog. We occasionally have pups available,so please email us for more information concerning current and future breedings.Puppy deposits are $200-$250 up ,depending on the breeding .Deposits are accepted as money orders-preferably Postal Money Orders-and are non-refundable ,only transferable to another dog or puppy. Puppies are available for pickup at 6 weeks of age and shipping at 8 weeks of age.Cost of shipping is $300 to most states.Delivery is possible within a certain radius,and cost is determined in each individual case. All puppies and adults are kept up to date on vaccinations and dewormings. With extensive education,training,and hands on experience in the veterinary field;Wildlife rehabilitation;Work with large ,small,and exotic animals;And the only active Pitbull rescue On the Mississippi coast.I receive tons of mail and calls seeking advice on various animal topics.Ranging from health and welfare,general topics,to legislative contacts and topics.While I am always willing to lend advice,keep in mind that I am only a normal civilian with high interests in this breed.I am neither a veterinarian nor a lawyer.Any thoughts I may lend comes solely from my years of experience. |
