| As I lay here next to you, watching you peacefully sleep, Silently listening to every breath you take, I wonder what your dreaming of before you shall awake. Are your dreams of you and me. Do you dream of our yesterday , Or of our future still to be, Alone with each other, just you and me. Do you dream of our first meeting. Was it fate or simply by chance. Can you recall that first shy glance. Are you dreaming about how I first caressed your face, The way your lips met mine for the very first time. Do you dream of how we made love, In the stillness of the night. Or how we embraced as we awoke to the morning's light. Do you dream of finding solitude and comfort, Within each others arms. Our hearts beating as one, protecting each other from harm. Are you dreaming about the first time I said, I love you. Do you remember the first time you said, I love you too.
