The first two writings inspired my admiration and interest in economic study via the Keynesian perspective.

The following paper critiques an article written by Richard Aledstein. In an article presented in The Journal of American History, Alestein proposes an “alternative interpretation” that he believes “captures” the meaning of The General Theory of Employment, Interest, and Money. (Written in the fall of 1996)

The following is a critique of The Economic Consequences of Peace by John Keynes. (Written during the winter of 1997)

Consequences of Peace

The following is a paper that discusses technology and government's use of it in combating social and political problems. The paper discusses three main projects, the Government Agricultural incentives, the TVA, and the development of the Atom Bomb. This particular paper won me First Place in the University of South Alabama in the School of Arts and Science writing competition. (Written in the fall of 1994)

The following is a look at Marsilius of Padua's famous book The Defender of Peace. It seeks to provide a understand to the motivations and experiences of Marsilius that led to writing and content of the book. (Written in the spring of 1995)
