Now, where's an oldie, Alta Vista? I don't see it listed! KEEP SHARP FOLKS! HUGE OVERLOOKED ISSUE HERE, BY EVERYBODY, FROM PARENTS TO CORPORATIONS!! Remember, search engine pages are not "static" or fixed in nature, they are a "virtual" page or always varying and are aubject to quite a LOT OF MANIPULATION! Ever see a book, in your local store, titled "GOOGLE HACKS"? If you take anything from "child safety" to "corporate security" seriously, YOU WILL NEVER FORGET THIS!) & Explorer Destroyer com (ANOTHER OVERLOOKED ISSUE, BY WEB SITE DEVELOPERS! PERSONAL VIEW ONLY: All web pages MUST be made to be universally seen by any & all browsers - NO EXCEPTIONS OR REQUIRED PLUG-INS! {several plug-ins are known for allowing for browser attacks} - Is MicroSoft & Netscape deaf here? Forcing folks to other browsers, to do their work or even get & read their emails,{Is SBC awake here too?} leads to several MAJOR PROBLEMS (or Massive Pains): 1- another damned thing to patch, REGULARLY! {This COSTS EVEN MORE, in time & money to IT Techs or individuals}, 2- wide openness to "cross browser attacks"{YES, THEY EXIST! And have been out there, for some time [ex. Firefox & Explorer, go search Security Focus com, on this one]}, 3- even more security settings to check {and even more might get overlooked or might not even be available, to be set [SBC listening?]}, 4- While your at Security Focus com, search for browser Toolbar Vulnerabilities,[SBC, again] yet another browser attack angle, a good article or two there),to the Network Security Resources Page.
