UPDATED:  27, May 2006-

1-  To Reflect the removal of NITRD from Network Security Resources Page.  Removed Jetico Firewall from Network Security Needful Things page.  Removed Mandrake from Certifying Organizations Page, due to dead linkage.

2-  To Reflect the fixing of dead linkages, from Alternatives Page, to NYC Wireless's Pebble Linux, PC-BSD & Mandrake (& fixed image to Mandriva/Mandrake, reflecting change of ownership & eliminating confusion-all pages).  Fixed dead linkage to Mandriva, on Supported Hardware Page.  Fixed dead linkage to Puppy Linux and close as possible for
TWO FTP LINKS for Mandriva (Sorry!  My Hosting Service, such as it is, doesn't seem to have much provision for posting FTP Links!, BUT IT'S FREE!!), on Live CD / demo Page.  Fixed dead linkage to Deutsche Welle, Radio Nederland, & Evesham, on News page.

3-  To reflect the addition of OliveCD & Anonym.OS LiveCD
[GEARED FOR SAFE SURFING WITH NO SECURING, by SourecForge] (BOTH are OpenBSD Variant), ARUDIUS CD [NetBSD Variant](Pen Testing, by TDI Security), PCLinuxOS (Mandrake Variant), MCN LiveCD (Mandriva Variant - CD OR USB STICK DRIVE), to the LiveCD Page.

UPDATED:  23, May 2006-

1-  Revamped foreword, to Magazines Downloads Page.

2-  Revamped foreword, to Multimedia File Conversion Page, & removed WinMX P2P Client, as it has been shut down, by RIA/MPAA (Recording & Motion Picture Industries).

3-  Revamped foreword, to Instant Messengers & Chat Clients Page & made minor labelling corrections.

4-  Removed Blue Security com, from RSS Feeds & Network Security Resources & News Pages, as they recently closed their doors, after many attacks by SPAMmers on their networks and their provider's DNS servers.
For the 'greater good' of the internet, in general, they felt it not good and not had the authority or the means, to wage a "intercontinental internet war" on SPAMmers, where the causualties would be their subscribers and anyone else, who got in the way, of their profits. Blue Security provided a service akin to the "DO NOT CALL LIST" for valid email recipients/subscribers.  Both FireFox and Thunderbird Extensions (plugins) fail to operate now and may be uninstalled.  And, Yes, I hated to see the Blue Frog CROAK!  May we have a momment of silence, for a well meant plan and a squashed frog? ;(

5-  Removed Security PipeLine, from Network Security Resources Page, as it is now Dark Reading, from a merger, currently listed & on RSS Feeds Page, as well.  This is the last, of the cleanup, of dead links for now.  Please feel free to report any others, that I may have missed.
UPDATED:  22, May 2006-

1-  To reflect the revamping of changelog pages, for easier access, to prior versions.

2-  To reflect and commemorate the crusade by a few noble folks left, namely EFF org, who openly challenges the huge telcos and the government, who lately gave the ordinary citizens of this country a vast doing over by invading their personal privacy rights, despite careful legislation of checks and balances that were laid down as FISA & a few others.  This NON PROFIT organization still depends on donations from ordinary, and now sore ended, citizens who might still have a few remaining dollars to spare.
Count mine in!  This will remain until AT&T pays dearly, to the fines of $1,000, per citizen infringed, without court order!

3-  A sincere appollogy, to the reader, this was meant to be strictly a changelog and NOT a "BLOG"!  I generally do not get torqued off over current events.  With this in mind, I thank the reader for his/her patience and truely hope he/she had a few grains of salt handy, give or take a few truckloads, for the last two updates!

4-  Revamped the foreword, to the Portable Software Page.
