Tri-County Head Start believes that, as parents, you are the most important people in a child's life and the key to their development. Your involvement is encouraged in all aspects of the program, and you as the primary educators of your children, are the key to their success. Throughout this website you will learn about many exciting opportunities for you to be involved with your child through Head Start.

The Head Start Program

The Whitefield Head Start program is a ccombo-based program. Our class days are Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. 8:30am - 12:30pm

We provide families with monthly home visits to work on family support and promote family involvement. Family Support Coordinators will also assist families with getting any health follow-up for their child and/or family. Education Staff in center based programs will also complete four visits per year with each family to work on individual child goals.

About This Site

This website was created by a Head Start parent as a way for new parents to find out about the program and how to enroll thier child. It is also for current and past Head Start parents to come and find interesting and useful information, recipes, activities and other stuff. Because this website was created by a parent, on her own time, all the hours and work put into it is considered In-Kind and is extremely helpful to our Head Start.
