Norwich Terriers come To Whitehart
Having bred and shown Westies for two decades, we were ready for a new direction.
Our decision to include the Norwich breed in our future was initially based on one all important breed characteristic, temperament. Westies are as the standard states "a big dog in a little package". Having "no small amount of self esteem". Therefore , whatever breed we chose, would most definitely need to possess these same characteristics and more. Simply stated they must have a sense of humor, be entirely without malice, and be able to play the role of mediator to their terrier cousins. In addition, most importantly never hold a grudge. To this end, the Norwich has proven to be a most able ambassador . With their gregarious disposition and independent nature, the Norwich Terrier was the first and only choice.
