MIRON IN RAW TOMATOES

April 11, 2005 - Listeners of 99.5RT can now hear Twisted Halo on their favorite radio station. The band's current single, Miron is currently in the playlist of RAW TOMATOES, a 99.5 RT radio show, hosted by Neil Almighty. The show airs every Monday, 3 to 4 p.m., with replays every Saturday, 9 to 10 p.m.

Miron can be included in the playlist of the other timeslots and shows of the radio station, provided people vote for it. To vote, just follow the following instructions:

ASAN NA? ON MYX

February 11, 2005 - Word just came in that the video of Asan Na? has been playing in local music channel MYX since Tuesday, February 8. The video, shot late last year, features the band just jamming on their guitars and hanging out, while someone searches for them.

The video is directed by Toppel Lee and Cedric Hornedo . Toppel Lee also directed Sugarfree's Hari ng Sablay video, as well as Fatal Posporos' Sili Song video. Cedric Hornedo is very impressive digital animator whose done work for Nike and MYX. (Remember that jumping robot on the Daily MYX top ten? Cedric animated that.)

December 3, 2004 - Twisted Halo and Cambio bassist Buddy Zabala won the Best Bassist of the Year Award last night at the 2004 NU 107 Rock Awards. Congratulations, Buddy!

VIVA APOLOGIZES

October 15, 2004 - Sometime in November 2001, VIVA films used approximately 2min 46secs of our song BRAD in its movie DOS EKIS without our knowledge and consent. We made it known to VIVA that we did not approve of what  they did and protested during the 2001 NU Rock Awards. We have since kept our silence.. And a lot of people thought we have given up.. But after a protracted struggle, they have finally apologized. Today,  Oct. 15, 2004, on page B13 of the Philippine Daily Inquirer, VIVA wrote:
 
"VIVA PRODUCTIONS, INC. apologizes to the members of the band  TWISTED HALO for having used their song BRAD in the movie DOS EKIS, without their knowledge and consent. We regret that this unfortunate  incident occured. We continue to recognize, affirm, and respect musicians' intellectual property rights over their songs. This will never happen again.
