Setting: In a bridal shop
(It’s a week before Kayla and Kevin’s wedding and Kayla and the rest of the girls are having their last fitting for their dresses. Each girl has a different pastel colored dress. Alexa is in pink, Elena in yellow, Liz in blue, and Sandra in violet.)
Alexa: (looking down at her dress) I hate dresses!
Elena: You look beautiful.
Alexa: I hate dresses!
Sandra: I love the fact that we are all in different colors.
Kayla: (in the dressing room putting on her wedding gown) Thank you thank you.
Liz: This reminds me of my wedding. (Sniff) It was so…long…ago.
Kayla: (still in the back) It’s ok Liz.
Sandra: Yeah it was only five months ago.
Liz: So…
Sandra: (goes over and puts her arm around Liz) Get over it.
Liz: Thanks sis.
Sandra: No problem.
Kayla: Ok, I’m coming out. (Kayla comes out of the dressing room in her wedding gown) Ta da. How do I look?
Elena: Wow.
Alexa: I want a Cinderella dress when I get married.
Kayla: It’s still a tad too long though. I don’t want to trip as I’m making my way towards my man.
Liz: Try it on with your shoes Kay.
Kayla: Oh…right. (Goes back in the dressing room.)
Alexa: (looking at Elena’s hand) Elena I like your ring. (Everyone looks at Elena’s ring)
Elena: Thanks. Nick gave it to me.
Kayla: (comes back out with the shoes on) Much better. (Looks at Elena’s ring) Nice ring.
(Meanwhile Kevin and the rest of the guys are trying on their tuxes)
Brian: I look like a penguin!
Nick: No you don’t.
Kevin: Yeah he does, but that’s not the point.
Brian: So what’s the point you are trying to make cous?
Kevin: The point is…that I’m getting married. I’m not exactly happy about wearing a tux either, but that’s what Kayla wants.
AJ: And what Kayla wants…Kayla gets.
Howie: For real yo.
Nick: (walks over to Howie and shakes his head) You got to stop hanging out with Justin man.
Howie: I know.
Kevin: Does everything fit guys?
Nick: I think so.
AJ: Good over here.
Howie: For real…I mean…yes.
Brian: I still look like a penguin.
Kevin: I’ll take that as a yes. Good.
