Carol: And so that’s when you decided to come down to Orlando?
Kevin: Yes, until my dad got sick…then I went back to Kentucky…he passed away… and I stayed at home until I was sure everyone else was ok…then went back to Orlando…met AJ, Nick, and Howie…and the rest is history.
Charlie: I’m sorry about your dad.
Kevin: Thank you.
Jimmy: So where the hell is Kayla?
Charlie: Boy! Watch the language.
Jimmy: Sorry dad.
Carol: When did she say she’d be home?
Kevin: (looks at his watch) Well...2 hours ago…but you know how those girls are…once they start talking…they loose all track of time.
Charlie: That’s for sure.
(Phone rings)
Kevin: (gets up and answers the phone) Hello? Yes this is Kevin Richardson…
what…what happened…is she ok…which hospital…yes…I’ll be right there. (Hangs up the phone) Kayla is in the hospital.
Carol: What? What happened?
Kevin: I dunno…but we have to get there right away.
Charlie: Come on…my car is blocking yours…we’ll take that car.
Kevin: Ok.
(They all run to the car, just then Alexa and Brian get there)
Brian: (getting out of the car) What’s going on?
Alexa: Brian and I wanted to show you and Kayla something we bought.
Kevin: Kayla is in the hospital…I don’t know what happened…but we have to get there now…I need you to call the gang and tell them we will be at Orlando Valley Hospital. (Runs into the car and the car takes off for the hospital)
Alexa: I don’t like the sound of this Brian.
Brian: I know…but we have to get going. You drive…I’ll call.
(They both get in the car and start driving)
Brian: (dials Nick’s number) Nick…pick up the phone…PICK UP THE DAMN PHONE!
Nick: (answers the phone) Hello?
Brian: Nick…it’s me…listen Kayla is at Orlando Valley Hospital…I don’t know what’s wrong…but Kevin wants everyone there. Lex and I can pick you up on the way…you better be ready.
Nick: Ok…but has anyone heard from Elena? She was supposed to be with Kayla.
Brian: Oh god…ok…just be ready…we’ll be there in like two seconds…don’t worry…I’m sure Lane is fine and with Kayla.
Nick: Ok…I’ll be ready.
(Within a few minutes, Alexa pulls into Nick’s driveway…Nick runs to the car…and they are off)
