(Just then a stretcher comes in and there are people crowding around it.)
Doctor: Take her to trauma one.
EMT2: She’s lost a lot of blood and she’s unconscious.
Nick: (gets up and starts to walk over towards where the people are crowding around) Oh my god…I think that’s Elena!
Alexa: What?! (She walks over to where Nick is standing) Oh my god. (Starts to cry)
Nick: Elena! (Goes to go over towards her and Charlie comes over and stops him) Let me go that’s Elena.
Charlie: You have to let the doctors do their job.
Brian: (comes back with a Doctor) I found someone.
Doctor: Mr. Richardson?
Kevin: (stands up) That’s me.
Doctor: Ms. Rodgers has been shot. She’s in surgery right now, but we’re hopeful.
Nick: What about her? (Points to the direction they wheeled Elena off in) Is she going to be ok?
Doctor: I don’t know. They just brought her in.
Nick: Well then what the hell are you standing here for. GO HELP HER!
Doctor: As soon as we hear anymore we will let you know. (To Nick) I will find out how she is doing. (Walks away towards Elena)
(Just then Liz, AJ, Sandra, and Matt show up)
Liz: Do we know anything?
Alexa: (crying) Kayla is in surgery and the doctor said it looked hopeful and Elena…
(Starts to cry more)
Sandra: Oh my god!
Brian: (hugs Alexa) We don’t know about her.
AJ: What do you mean you don’t know?
Nick: (with tears in his eyes) They just brought her in. She didn’t look good though. They said she lost a lot of blood.
AJ: (walks over to Kevin) How you doing man?
Kevin: I’ve been better.
(Few hours later, Howie has showed up and been filled in on what’s going on. The gang has been moved to the ICU waiting room and they are still waiting to hear about how the girls are)
Sandra: (to Matt) Thanks for staying with me.
Matt: I wouldn’t leave you now.
Sandra: Thanks. (Matt hugs Sandra)
Brian: (walks over to Kevin and sits next to him) You alright?
Kevin: I’ve been better.
Brian: You want me to get you anything? Some coffee or water?
Kevin: No I’m fine.
Brian: If you need anything let me know. (Gets up to leave)
Kevin: Hey Bri?
Brian: Yeah?
Kevin: Can you just sit here with me for awhile? It would really help.
Brian: (sits back down) Yeah sure.
AJ: (walks over to Nick) Hey.
Nick: Hi.
AJ: You hanging in there?
Nick: I would really like to know how Elena is doing.
AJ: I’m sure they are both fine.
Nick: I hope so.
Carol: (stands up) Why haven’t we heard anything?
Charlie: Because the doctors haven’t come by to talk to us yet.
Carol: I know that. (Looks around) Where’s Jimmy?
Charlie: He went to the cafeteria to get a drink.
Carol: Oh.
Charlie: (gets up and walks over to Carol) Kayla’s a fighter. She’ll be ok.
Carol: That she is. She doesn’t even know I’m here. What if she doesn’t find out that I’m here?
Charlie: She’ll find out. Don’t worry. You’ll see.
